The news
Anthropic has opened Claude Marketplace, a single catalog for extending Claude inside organisations. The company says it launched with more than 2,000 connectors and plugins, including integrations from Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Notion and Salesforce.
A second section lists Claude-powered software from companies such as CrowdStrike, Cursor, Harvey, Hebbia, Legora, Lovable and Snowflake. Anthropic says customers can pay for these products with part of their committed Anthropic spend rather than through separate purchases.
A third section connects buyers with consulting and systems-integration partners from the Claude Partner Network, among them Accenture, Boston Consulting Group and Deloitte.
Outside developers can build connectors and plugins using the Model Context Protocol and Agent Skills and submit them through Anthropic’s documentation, while software makers can apply to list products. BleepingComputer noted the open approach contrasts with a more curated app store. Anthropic has not published pricing, revenue-share terms or plan-level availability.

Why CEOs should care
The committed-spend feature is the business story. Large companies often sign minimum-spend agreements with AI vendors and then struggle to use the full amount. Letting that money buy partner tools makes the commitment easier to consume, and helps Anthropic become the channel through which other AI software is bought. Procurement teams should check whether marketplace purchases count fully toward commitments and how pricing compares with buying the same tools directly.
For security and IT leaders, 2,000-plus connectors also means 2,000-plus potential data paths into business systems. Anthropic has not detailed a security review process for listings, so admins should keep approval rules tight on which connectors employees can enable.
The bigger picture
Cloud providers used marketplaces and draw-down credits to lock in enterprise spending. AI labs are now copying the model, and Meta’s new enterprise unit and OpenAI’s app efforts suggest distribution, not just model quality, is becoming the battleground.
What's next
Watch for disclosed revenue-share terms, early usage figures for listed partners, and whether OpenAI or Google let customers spend their AI commitments on third-party tools in the same way.
