The 60-second brief

  • 1Metaview raised a $60 million Series C led by Insight Partners on September 30, 2026, bringing total funding to $110 million.
  • 2The company says 7,000+ companies use its platform and its agents have run 6 million+ interviews.
  • 3Metaview plans to grow from about 80 to 250+ employees and open a New York office.

The news

Metaview, a maker of artificial intelligence software for recruiters, raised a $60 million Series C round led by Insight Partners, SiliconANGLE and The SaaS News reported on September 30, 2026. The Metaview Series C brings the company's total funding to $110 million.

GV, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Intrepid Growth Partners, Plural and Garuda Ventures also took part, according to both outlets. The company did not disclose a valuation in the coverage we reviewed.

Metaview was founded in 2018 by Chief Executive Siadhal Magos and Chief Technology Officer Shahriar Tajbakhsh, who both previously worked at Uber Technologies and Palantir Technologies (PLTR), SiliconANGLE reported. The SaaS News lists offices in London, San Francisco and New York.

The company's software agents automate recruiting tasks including writing job postings, sourcing candidates, screening, reviewing resumes and running initial interviews, according to SiliconANGLE. Its newest product, Fillmore, is an autonomous recruiting agent that works inside Slack and handles research, outreach, follow-up and meeting scheduling. The SaaS News reported that the funding will take Fillmore to general availability and build more specialist agents.

Metaview says more than 7,000 companies use its platform, including Deel, Affirm (AFRM) and Replit, and that its agents have conducted more than 6 million interviews, SiliconANGLE reported. The company cited one customer achievement of a reduction of more than 75% in average time to hire.

The company plans to grow from about 80 employees to more than 250 by the end of 2027, open a New York office and expand 10x Recruiting, its training program for human recruiters, according to both outlets.

Why CEOs should care

Recruiting teams are buried in volume. SiliconANGLE reported a 412% rise in applications per recruiter, a figure cited in its coverage of Metaview. Tools that write interview notes, screen resumes and schedule meetings let a fixed team handle more candidates. Talent leaders evaluating these products should test them on real requisitions and measure time to hire and candidate quality, not just hours saved.

For HR and legal leaders, automated screening and AI-run first interviews raise compliance questions. Some US jurisdictions, including New York City, regulate automated employment decision tools. Before rollout, ask vendors how candidates are told about AI involvement, what bias audits exist, how long interview recordings are kept and who can access them.

CFOs should ask how pricing scales. Agent-based products may be priced per seat, per hire or per task, and costs can climb as usage grows. Compare against agency fees and recruiter headcount to see where the savings land.

The bigger picture

Metaview's funding is part of a wider push to turn AI note-takers into agents that complete whole workflows. In hiring, that puts pressure on applicant tracking system vendors and recruiting agencies, while candidates are also using AI to send more applications, adding to the volume recruiters face.

What’s next

Watch for Fillmore's general availability, pricing and any third-party data on whether agent-led interviews hold up on hiring quality, as well as how regulators treat AI-conducted first-round interviews.

What “Fact-checked” means

Fact-checking means testing a story’s facts against the evidence before it is published. This story went through at least two separate checks before this version was published.

What we checked
Its names, figures, dates, job titles, quotes and who said what were checked against the story’s sources, including its main source where it could be opened. The headline was checked for accuracy and overstatement.
How
A first check reviewed the whole story. If it passed, a second, skeptical check went back to the sources to look for mistakes in the most important facts. If a check flagged the story, it was edited to fix the problems found, and a separate re-check then reviewed the whole story again.
Who
The checks are made by our newsroom, as steps kept separate from the writing, under rules set by our editor, . A story the checks still flag is held for the editor, who decides whether it is fixed, published or dropped.
If something is wrong
“Fact-checked” does not mean error-free. If a material error is found after publication, we correct the story and add a note saying what changed. Report an error
